8. Arkvall Mobile and the Coherion platform

Arkvall Mobile is a companion app for organizations that use Coherion, Arkvall's security platform. The app works only with an account that your organization has set up. Your organization decides whether to use Coherion and which features are turned on. For data in the platform, Arkvall acts on your organization's behalf.

 

What the app sends to Coherion

• Your account: your email address, and the Coherion user and organization identifiers returned when you sign in. Your password is used to sign in and is never stored on your phone.

• This installation: an installation identifier and its credential, the phone's name or an asset tag set by your organization's device management, the platform, operating-system version and app version, and a push token used only to wake the app.

• Device posture, only after you agree: device model and type, operating-system and app version, battery level band and charging state, low-power mode, whether biometrics are available and enrolled, network type, and whether location permission is granted. The location itself is never sent.

• What you choose to check: when you tap Analyze on a link, text, QR code, image or document, it is sent to Coherion for assessment. Coherion keeps a fingerprint (SHA-256), the length, kind and name of the item, and the verdict with its reasons, which can include web addresses found in the item. It does not keep the content itself.

• Responses to your organization's instructions: acknowledgements of commands and the features the app supports.

 

What the app does not collect: your location coordinates, camera images, contacts, messages, call logs or browsing history. The app has no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software. Like any server, Coherion sees the network address of each connection.

 

AI analysis. When your organization's AI analysis is on, the links, text and QR-code contents you submit are sent to Anthropic, which provides the AI model, to produce the assessment. Images and documents are not sent. Before anything is sent, Coherion replaces usernames, email names, device names and device identifiers with placeholders. Anthropic processes the data for Arkvall as a service provider, does not use it to train its models, and may keep it for up to 30 days under its commercial terms.

 

How we use it. We use this data only to provide Coherion to your organization: to show your organization's security team the state of enrolled devices, to assess what you submit, and to deliver and verify your organization's signed policies and instructions. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.

 

Who can see it. Your organization's administrators and security team can see your device's status, its activity in the app, and the results of checks made from it. Arkvall staff can see it only to operate and support the service.

 

How it is protected.

• All connections use HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher).

• Data is stored in the United States, on Amazon Web Services, encrypted with keys Arkvall controls.

• Passwords are stored only as salted, one-way hashes.

• Administrator accounts require two-step verification.

• Each installation has its own credential, and instructions sent to the phone are signed and verified before they run.

 

Keeping and deleting data. Data is kept while your organization uses Coherion. To have your account removed, ask your organization's administrator, who can remove your account and revoke the app on your phone, or email info@arkvall.com. When an organization stops using Coherion, its data can be deleted completely. Signing out of the app removes its credential and push token from the phone.

 

Children. Arkvall Mobile is a workplace app and is not intended for anyone under 18.
